Established in 2007, total-play Ltd offers a complete range of pitch solutions, comprising both synthetic and natural pitch products and related services to schools, universities, community facilities and sports clubs of all levels across the UK and beyond.

From consultancy through to design, groundwork and installation and on-going management and maintenance, total-play can provide clubs with a solution to meets their needs; including installation or refurbishment of cricket, winter games, athletics, MUGA or tennis facilities, ground and pitch protection covers, annual pitch regeneration and maintenance services and a carefully selected range of cricket ground essentials.

total-play operates in all sports arenas, but is perhaps currently best known for its prowess in the cricketing arena, where it became the first non-turf pitch supplier to be awarded the status of England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Non-Turf Pitch (NTP) Code of Practice installer, having met all criteria of the ECB’s ‘Code of Practice for the Design and Installation of Non-Turf Cricket Facilities’.

The company has capitalised on its unique combination of in-field experience and scientific research backgrounds to develop a series of ground breaking systems including tp365, an ECB ‘approved design’ non-turf cricket pitch. But do not be mislead into thinking our natural turf surface experience isn't as prominent; with many years experience preparing, designing and constructing sports pitches, the total-play team has a unrivalled insight into the natural pitches. Using up to date technical research in connection with the latest machinery, means total-play is able to deliver leading turn key pitch construction solutions.

total-play is also responsbile for the innovation that is the Climate Cover System™ – the lightest, strongest and only breathable sports turf cover, as used by the ECB and the LTA.

total-play launched www.thecricketgroundshop.co.uk, the sole online outlet for both total-play and Climate Cover products alongside other items essential to the smooth running and maintenance of the cricket ground; providing groundsmen with an online ‘one stop shop’.
