For match or practice
Practice facilities
No cricket ground is complete without a non-turf practice facility. total-play’s range of non-turf cricket practice systems provides an essential all-weather resource for cricket grounds and a solution to meet the needs and budgets of clubs of all levels. All systems are ‘made to measure’ to clubs’ individual requirements, with any number of bays and to varying lengths, while features such as built in ‘white lines’ to our ECB approved tp365 system and as an option on bespoke systems provide a useful aid both batters and bowlers.
Match pitches
total-play’s non-turf pitches provide a safe and consistent artificial surface for cricket matches and practice sessions - all year round. They have become an invaluable resource for all groundsmen; providing a low maintenance resource for busy grounds.
When developing the non-turf match pitch, we have considered every aspect of the game. Our unique, ECB approved, tp365 system is proven to encourage spin more than any other artificial surface and creates a balanced game between bat and ball.
Match pitches can be positioned to suit individual requirements and are installed to create a safe and undisturbed playing area and official non-turf match pitch dimensions are 30m x 2.74m (94ft by 9ft). For a detailed build specification and samples please contact the total-play team.
Cricket Pitch Refurbishments
Existing facilities and surfaces will, over time, require renovation. Worn playing surfaces can create trip hazards and cause uneven ball bounce. Facilities deemed to be outside of Performance Quality Standards (PQS) could result in litigation following an accident.
To establish if your facility falls short of industry standards, our consultants will carry out a test in accordance with ECB standards and guidelines. Testing produces immediate results and can be carried out in the presence of a ground representative. Once the standard of existing facilities is determined a practical solution can identified.
The total-play team is able to refurbish:
- Playing surfaces
- Netting Systems
